The webinar will take place online on Friday 26 January from 10.00 to 11.30 CET.

Artificial intelligence is already a part of our private and professional lives. It helps us with things such as generating proposal text for e-mail answers, writing meeting minutes, and even creating full draft reports and presentations. However, it is not always clear how our data is being used, how an AI arrives at certain recommendations, or how we are being nudged by the underlying algorithms.

The ways that AIs can 'steer' our actions can influence multiple fundamental rights - the rights to data protection and privacy of course, but also the right to non-discrimination (do AIs treat persons in comparable situations in the same way?) and the right to human dignity (by addressing humans from a purely data-driven perspective).

In this panel discussion, we will be discussing these and more questions related to AI ethics and data protection. Mark your calendars for this data.europa academy panel discussion 'Deep-dive into artificial intelligence and data ecosystems: fundamental rights, ethics and data protection' and join us on 26 January 10.00 - 11.30 CET for an interesting discussion on AI ethics!
